Enrollment Support

JULY, your investment advisor, and our record keeping platform partners provide you the services needed to efficiently enroll employees in the plan. 

  • On-site Enrollment - Many of our record keeping platform options include on-site enrollment services for your employees.  These meetings include professional presentations, complete with PowerPoint slide shows, handouts, and enrollment materials.  These services enhance and augment the enrollment services offered by your independent financial advisor.
  • Enrollment Materials – All providers include professional enrollment materials to guide employees in making enrollment and investment decisions.  These materials generally include enrollment workbooks, investment education, risk profile worksheets, investment fact sheets, and enrollment forms.
  • Required Plan Notices – JULY works with you to provide all required participant notices such as the Blackout Notice, Fee Disclosure Notice, Summary Plan Description, and others that may be needed for your plan.

Education and Investment Advice

After the initial enrollment, our solutions offer the educational tools and investment advice options needed to help your employees stay on course, including:

  • Quarterly Statements – Participants receive quarterly statements that meet regulatory requirements and that provide details of account activity for the period.
  • Newsletters – Educational newsletters are provided via participant websites to educate participants on important topics such as diversification, savings rates, ROTH vs. Traditional contributions, dollar-cost averaging, and other important topics.
  • Retirement Calculators – JULY and other record keeping platforms offer different retirement calculators to help participants plan their savings rate and make sure they are staying on course.
  • Online Investment Advice - Many of our retirement record keeping partners include participant access to on-line investment advice and guidance.  These tools help secure a participant’s financial future and as a plan sponsor, they can help reduce your fiduciary liability.

Ongoing Support

JULY and our retirement partners provide ongoing, day-to-day support to help employees with other needs such as:

  • Support using the plan website
  • Retirement distribution options
  • Calculating and taking hardship distributions
  • Calculating and processing loans
  • Understanding quarterly statements
  • Minimum required distributions at age 70 ½
  • Rolling in balances from other plans
