Client Service Specialist

Job Objective

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Pooled Employer Plans (PEP)
  • Strengthen relationships with clients and advisors through delivery of our value propositions
  • Respond to plan sponsors and advisors’ questions related to all aspects of their retirement plan

Job Duties

  • Manage a book of Pooled Employer Plans (PEP)
  • Successfully respond to incoming phone calls, emails and chats from retirement plan sponsors and advisors
  • Prioritize, research, and resolve client questions related to technology, plan operation, compliance and other matters
  • Proactively request information and alert clients to plan operational and compliance matters
  • Request information from plan sponsors as requested by other JULY departments
  • Assist Client Service Managers when necessary
  • Meet predefined individual, departmental, and company key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintain knowledge regarding industry trends and legislative/regulatory requirements and changes
  • Coordinate with other team members as required for support on recordkeeping and plan administration
  • Communicate 401(k) recordkeeping processes and technology
  • Maintain documentation on client projects and responses within JULYs CRM software tool

Skills / Experience / Credentials

  • 2+ years of customer service or retirement plan experience
  • Strong written and verbal customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and follow tasks through to completion
  • Desire and willingness to serve clients and be empathetic to their needs
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
