Blake Willis

Blake Willis is the Chief Operating Officer at JULY, where he leads the alignment of sales and operations with the company’s strategic initiatives, fostering growth, enhancing the client experience, and driving operational excellence. With nearly three decades of experience in the retirement and financial services industry, Blake brings a deep understanding of compliance, plan design, and key relationship management to his role.

Since joining JULY in October 1996, Blake has been instrumental in the company’s evolution and expansion. His leadership focuses on uniting cross-functional teams, developing talent, and cultivating a high-performance culture built on collaboration and accountability. Blake plays a pivotal role in process improvement, acquisition integration, and the continuous enhancement of JULY’s services to clients across the country.

A respected voice in the retirement industry, Blake is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, sharing his expertise in compliance and plan design. His commitment to advancing the industry is further demonstrated by his role as an adjunct professor in Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, where he has shaped the next generation of financial professionals.

Blake holds a Master of Accountancy degree, graduating magna cum laude from Baylor University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Qualified 401(k) Administrator(QKA), and Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA). Additionally, he is an active member of ASPPA (the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries).
