GPS selected JULY to partner on the design and delivery of their first PEP that seeks to help close the national coverage gap by its focus on serving start-up and small plans. With more than 25 years of experience serving the retirement plan needs of thousands of companies, JULY brings a zealous commitment to excellence delivered through a thoughtful implementation of proprietary process, technology and customer service.
“After nearly 18 months of due diligence, we are eager to launch our first PEP with JULY,” said Pete Swisher, a Managing Partner of GPS. “We are confident that their compliance infrastructure and operations are well-designed and will provide a solid foundation from which GPS can oversee plan operations in a prudent manner.”
“At JULY, our goal is to deliver a high-touch, personal experience at institutional scale with an unwavering commitment to operational excellence” said JULY CEO John Humphrey. He added, “We are excited to partner with GPS and support our shared goal of delivering on this promise.”
Michelle LeCates, JULY’s Vice President of Institutional Relationships and Marketing, added,
“We admire the vision of GPS and their model as independent operational fiduciary. We believe this PEP represents an evolution of the group plan management paradigm that ultimately serves employer and employees better. We’re excited to contribute our energy and resources to the success of this model.”
GPS, officially formed in August 2021, is a partnership between Pension Resource Institute (PRI) and Waypoint Fiduciary (Waypoint), founded by ERISA attorney Jason C. Roberts and Pete Swisher, respectively.
