JULY Welcomes Ginger H. Gibbs as Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Waco, TX (January 16, 2024)

  • JULY Business Services (JULY), a leading national provider of 401(k) plan services to small to mid-sized employers, continues its trajectory of strategic expansion with the recent appointment of Ginger H. Gibbs as the new Senior Vice President of Human Resources. With a stellar track record in talent leadership and an impressive background in human resources, Ginger will play a pivotal role aligning the people strategy with JULY’s core values, mission, and vision as the company builds on its recent growth and success.

Gibbs brings to JULY a wealth of experience, having served as a talent leadership partner and holding a master’s degree in human resource management and development as well as dual certifications. Gibbs held HR leadership positions in both publicly and privately held organizations of various sizes and industries. Gibbs held key roles at Smart Start – Global IID Family of Companies, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, Virgin Pulse – SimplyWell, JPMorgan Chase – Chase Paymentech, and Grant Thornton. Her experience creating and executing HR roadmaps, coupled with a proven ability to make significant contributions through superior leadership and internal client service, position her as a key asset for JULY’s continued growth.

In 2023, JULY marked a series of strategic milestones by successfully acquiring four firms, solidifying its position as a leader in the small to mid-sized 401(k) plan space. As JULY looks toward 2024 and beyond, the company is poised for further expansion and is committed to fortifying its organizational structure to support its ambitious plans.

“We are thrilled to have Ginger join JULY as our Senior Vice President of Human Resources during this exciting period of growth,” said John Humphrey, CEO at JULY. “Ginger’s wealth of experience in talent leadership, combined with her strategic mindset, aligns with our goals for the future. Her role will be crucial in ensuring that our staffing is optimized to support our core values, mission, and vision as we continue our journey of strategic growth.”

Gibbs expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating, “JULY’s commitment to thoughtful growth and emphasis on aligning their business strategy with the company’s core values resonated with me. HR leaders typically view their 401(k) partner as one of many benefit partners. However, JULY’s HR function broadens the traditional reach of the role, as the HR team consults with JULY’s business leaders to make the company’s vision a reality for advisors, plan sponsors, participants, and employees, alike. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of JULY by fostering a value-driven environment through a people-centric employee experience, shaping the future of retirement for the JULY team and its extended client family.”
