Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to client services and setting the stage for client success.
Job Responsibilities
Client Lifecyle Ownership
- Bridges the gap between Sales and Client Services.
- Explains the implementation process during the client kickoff call.
- Ensures all necessary forms/documentation are received from clients on time and in good order for go-live.
- Uses needs analysis tools to ensure all client requirements are documented and understood.
- Ensures all necessary information is procured/migrated from previous system for timely and accurate set up in the payroll system.
- Configures payroll system and reports to client requirements.
- Processes first payroll to ensure accuracy/consistency from previous system.
- Trains clients on the use of payroll system.
- Provides detailed instructions for how to handle taxes not remitted by former provider.
- Leads transition to client services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and success manager for strategic clients who enter their own payroll/new hires.
- Leads platform transition program to migrate current clients from legacy payroll processing platforms to our current platform.
Qualifications / Experience
- Expert knowledge of payroll system set up/configuration, and reporting
- Strong to expert knowledge of MSFT Excel and emerging tools
- Professional and concise verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with ability to interface directly with clients large and small
- Strong knowledge of tax filing process, with multi-state payroll background
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Exceptionally organized individual who juggles multiple projects with minimal oversight
- Team player with willingness to do no matter how small or large the task

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: Multi-state Payroll bundled with 401(k) or HCM services
- Experience: Knowledgeable of tax remittance/filing processes and how to recognize taxable wage problems
