Greg Snyder

Greg Snyder is Senior Vice President of Engineering at JULY, where he leads the firm’s engineering organization and shapes its long-term technology direction. With more than 30 years of experience in information technology leadership and the retirement industry, Greg brings deep expertise in building the systems, teams, and infrastructure that power modern financial services.

In his role, Greg oversees the development of JULY’s technology platforms, guiding software engineering, systems architecture, and the firm’s growing use of artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and client experience. He works closely with leaders across the organization to ensure JULY’s technology strategy supports its mission of delivering responsive, innovative retirement plan services to advisors, employers, and participants.

Greg joined JULY in 2012 and has played a central role in helping the firm grow and modernize its technology capabilities. Prior to JULY, he served as Vice President of Information Technology at Sterling Trust Company for over 14 years, where he led the company’s IT function through a period of significant growth. He later served as Vice President of Information Technology at UW Administrative Services, building hands-on experience across programming, network administration, and systems management.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems and Marketing from Baylor University.

Outside of work, Greg plays piano and guitar and has been in several bands over the years. A Sci-Fi fan, he considers Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies among his favorites. Greg enjoys the outdoors, coffee and also spending time his family and friends.
