With Continued Expansion on the Horizon, JULY Promotes Sales Leaders to Support Future Growth

Barker and Smith have been tapped to lead JULY’s East and West sales regions. In Perri’s redefined role, she continues to focus on growing the Central territory which includes JULY’s home state of Texas.

July Business Services (JULY) is pleased to announce the promotions of three Regional Sales Directors – Adam Barker, Diana Perri, and Brian Smith. JULY’s rapid growth over the past 18 months combined with planned sales team expansion has created an opportunity for the company to enhance its sales team leadership and focus more resources on advisor support.

As Senior Director of Sales – West, Barker will provide leadership to JULY’s sales team for the western half of the country.  He draws on more than 16 years of industry experience, including roles in recordkeeping plan operations, plan installation, BPO services, and most recently as West Coast Regional Sales Director.  

Brian Smith, JULY’s new Senior Director of Sales – East, will provide leadership to JULY’s sales team for the eastern half of the country.  Smith joined JULY in 2018 and has more than 20 years of retirement industry experience. For the past three years, he has served as the Great Lakes Regional Sales Director where he has helped hundreds of plan sponsors and advisors establish and implement retirement plan strategies for their companies and employees.

In addition to their new leadership responsibilities, Barker and Smith will focus on building new relationships with financial institutions and third party administrators within their regions along with managing their own individual sales territories.

In her enhanced role as Senior Sales Director – Central Region, Diana Perri will continue using her expertise to help advisors and their retirement plan clients in JULY’s largest regional territory. Perri has over 18 years of experience at JULY as well as additional industry experience with John Hancock and Plan Data. She’s known throughout the advisor community for her deep plan design expertise and her love of interacting and building relationships with clients.
