A few things you might not know about Chase…

What is your favorite book?

“The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I’ve read it three or four times at different points in my life, and each time it gives me a new perspective. It follows a young man searching for his “Personal Legend,” only to realize that what he was seeking had been within reach all along. To me, the lesson is that the journey—and how it shapes you—is the real treasure. And yes…pay attention to the omens along the way.”

What movie quotes do you use regularly?

“I’m a big fan of Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, and Mike Myers comedies. The quote I use most is:

“So you’re telling me there’s a chance?” – Dumb & Dumber.

It somehow fits everything from business deals to everyday life—it’s a fun reminder to stay optimistic.”

What did you name your first car?

“Dale – “The Silver Bullet.”

It was a 1995 two-door Nissan pickup that used to be my grandpa’s farm truck. In winter I had to throw sandbags in the back just to keep it grounded on the highway. I called him Dale because I imagine every “Dale” is dependable—and probably sounds like Sam Elliott with a mustache. From farm days with my grandpa to high school bonfires (with a Dolly Parton tape still in the dash), I made some great memories in old Dale.”

If you were famous, what would you be famous for?

“Probably something Fear Factor-style. I grew up around a pest-control business, so creepy crawlies never bothered me, and I’ve got a strong stomach. Now my kids bring me snakes and spiders like trophies—I guess I trained them too well. If I ever ended up famous, it’d probably be for doing something adventurous, messy, or a little wild.”

You’re sailing around the world—what’s the name of your boat?

“The Gilded Lady. A nod to Dr. Robert Doback’s boat in Step Brothers, one of my all-time favorite movies.”
