A few things you might not know about Jordan…

Would you rather travel back in time to meet your ancestors or into the future to meet your descendants? Why?

“Back in time, without hesitation. I’d love the chance to meet the people I never got to know — to hear their stories firsthand and understand what shaped this life. Learning from both their mistakes and their accomplishments would be incredibly worthwhile, and I think it would give me a deeper appreciation for the foundation that was built for us, our kids, and generations to come.”

If you had the option to pursue a different career, what would it be?

“Residential architect. I love the idea of building something from scratch that becomes part of a family’s story. A home can shape memories for generations, and there’s something inspiring about creating a piece of history with that kind of lasting impact. It probably doesn’t hurt that I’ve talked myself into more than a few DIY projects along the way.”

If you could have a supernatural power, what would it be?

“The ability to freeze time. Life moves fast — between work, kids, and everything in between, there are moments you just want to hold onto a little longer. Having the power to pause and be fully present would be everything.”

What movie quotes do you use on a regular basis?

” ‘You’re killing me, Smalls.’ — The Sandlot. My go-to for making light of the moments when things don’t go exactly as planned — my kids know it well.”

What song, album, or artist could you listen to on repeat?

“I’m more of a genre person than a single-song person — I could listen to ’90s country on repeat forever. Tim McGraw and George Strait are at the top of my list, but honestly, anything from that era works for me. In recent years I’ve taken on a new role as the DJ for my son’s baseball team (yes, apparently that’s a real job), which has forced me to branch out a bit — but ’90s country will always be my go-to.”
