What is your favorite book?
“That’s a tough one. I would say the Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is the book that created the whole context for Lord of the Rings and what happens before (and after). It is fascinating to me how his mind was able to conceive and then create this entire mythology down to new languages with finest details and yet still tell these incredible stories.”
What was the worst style choice you ever made?
“I have been pretty lucky in this regard. I would say that I went through a Sun In hair phase in 9th grade that I deeply regret. I wish I had the Delorean from Back to The Future and could alter that little fashion experiment.”
What breed of dog would you be?
“Labrador. Specifically, a black labrador. If you were familiar with the lives of our past and present labs, nothing compares. You get to sleep anywhere you want when you aren’t playing, eating, walking, swimming, more playing, more eating, getting rubbed on, and then rinse and repeat. “
If you had a time machine, would you go back in time or into the future?
“My choice would be back in time. I don’t think I want to know the future. The future holds so much possibility. I think knowing it would remove the allure….sort of like skipping to the end of a good movie. I would like to meet a number of important figures in history and there are also some family members that I did not get know as an adult. From time to time, I have dreams about having conversations as an adult with my grandparents who have passed. As mentioned, I could also cure a certain past fashion faux pas. I guess I am firmly in the Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure camp on this one.”
If you could have a supernatural power, what would it be?
