Job Description
July Business Services (JULY) is seeking an individual for Installation Manager. In this role, you will enjoy the unique challenge of proactively guiding new clients through the installation process while providing friendly service and setting the stage for a long-term relationship with JULY. The Gig
- Serve as the primary point of contact and project manager for new retirement plan clients and advisors
- Educate plan sponsors on plan highlights and new operational processes with JULY
- Respond to plan sponsor and advisor questions related to plan setup in a timely manner
- Ensure advisors and plan sponsors receive regular updates regarding the status of their plan setup
- Assist plan sponsors and advisors with creating a plan installation timeline and ensure JULY systems are set up to receive assets on schedule
- Work with TPAs and Recordkeepers to convert existing plans to the JULY Recordkeeping platform
- Perform payroll upload training to the JULY Recordkeeping website and serve as a resource for troubleshooting
- Communicate the availability of plan documents, notices, and other compliance related items to plan sponsors and advisors
- Prioritize, research and resolve client questions related to technology, plan operation, compliance and other matters
- Coordinate with other team members as required for support on recordkeeping, plan conversions and plan administration
- Maintain documentation on client projects and responses within JULY’s CRM software tool
- Maintain knowledge regarding industry trends and legislative/regulatory requirements and changes
- Ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned
Our Needs
- 3+ Years retirement plan experience, with direct exposure to plan installation, conversions, or recordkeeping operations
- Working knowledge of plan setup and conversion from other recordkeeping or TPA platforms
- Ability to explain complex compliance items in a clear and understandable manner
- Professional and concise verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Builder of collaborative rapport with stellar interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Exceptionally organized individual who juggles multiple projects with minimal oversight
- Self-starting, resourceful, solution seeker who works well independently
- Can do, client focused attitude who thrives on accountability, credibility, and trustworthiness
- Team player who is willing to take on any task, large or small

- Bachelor’s Degree
- QKA ASPPA Certification —or must be willing to work towards ASPPA credentials
- Prior experience managing plan conversions or takeovers end-to-end
- Familiarity with PEP/MEP structures and pooled arrangements
- Experience communicating compliance items (notices, blackouts, deadlines) directly to plan sponsors and advisors
- Desire to deliver the best internal and external client service possible
